Come Support a Great Cause with 22q at the Zoo!

Join Geisinger’s Autism & Developmental Medicine Institute on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm for 22q At the Zoo—a worldwide effort to raise awareness for 22q11.2 deletion syndrome.

22q at the Zoo at Clyde Peeling's Reptiland

22q11.2 deletion is a chromosomal syndrome present in 1 out of every 2,000-4,000 live births. No two people affected are the same, making detection and diagnosis difficult. 22q at the Zoo gives families a chance to have a fun-filled day at the zoo, socialize with other 22q families, and help raise the public profile of this little-known syndrome all in one day.

To purchase tickets discounted especially for this event, contact Emily at 570-214-0167 or epalen@geisinger.edu.

  • Ages 2 and under: free
  • Ages 3 and older: $5
(limit of 4 tickets per family)

We encourage all attendees to support the cause by purchasing an event t-shirt at 22q.org.

We are happy to support this great foundation, and we can’t wait to show everyone a great time on May 21!
