Reading with Reptiles

Don’t miss our fun and interactive story time series, Reading with Reptiles!

We host this special event the first Saturday of the month, November through March! Storytime starts at 11:00 am and lasts about 30 minutes. Each story features an animal or two that we have at the zoo; afterward, we’ll have an animal encounter, touch opportunity, or other hands-on experience for you to enjoy as well as a fun activity to take home! (scroll down for details on each date/book).

And while you’re here, don’t forget to tour the rest of the zoo and take in a live show!

In addition to story time, you will also have access to the zoo all day! Come early and stay late to explore; with all of our exhibits and live shows, there’s plenty to see and do!

Reading with Reptiles will be held on November 4, 2023, December 2, 2023, January 6, 2024, February 3, 2024, March 2, 2024,
