Our live shows are interesting, educational, and interactive. Learn all about fascinating creatures, interact with our knowledgeable staff, and even touch an animal or two!
Live Shows
Exciting live shows can be seen daily at *10:00 am, 11:30 am, 1;00 pm, 2:30 pm, and 4:00 pm. They include Desert Dwellers, Tropical Rainforest, Ancient Adaptations, Lizards & Snakes Alive, Reptile Diversity, and Venom. Every 30-minute show offers an opportunity to touch a live reptile. Shows vary by season. Please call for current show schedule.

Animal Encounters
Animal Encounters occur daily at 11:00 am, 12:30 pm, and 2:00 pm in the Island Giants building. Enjoy an up-close experience with one of our professional keepers and a special animal.
Desert Dwellers
Featured one week a year, this show introduces students to the fascinating lives of desert-dwelling species!Length: approximately 45 minutes.
Tropical Rainforest
Another specially featured show, Rainforest showcases the unique, fragile ecosystem of the rainforest and the wonder of the animals living within it!Length: approximately 45 minutes.
Ancient Adaptations
This show dives into the prehistoric world of dinosaurs and makes connections to their living relatives.Length: approximately 30 minutes.
Lizards & Snakes Alive
This scaly show features the most successful reptiles of all time with an assortment of exciting animals.Length: approximately 30 minutes.
Reptile Diversity
This highly interactive show is all about reptile diversity, introducing guests to the four main groups of living reptiles with artifacts and touchable animals!
Venom
Delve into the marvels of animal toxins with an all new crew of animals featuring a scorpion and cane toad, as our staff safely bring these and other venomous species to center stage.
