Get up close and personal with Al & Henry, our Aldabra tortoises: meet, feed, touch, and have your photo taken with two of Reptiland’s oldest residents!
Aldabra tortoises are some of the largest living tortoises in the world, and some believe they are the longest living animals as well. In the wild, they are found on Aldabra Island in the Indian Ocean, northeast of Madagascar. Although once considered an endangered species, recent accounts from Aldabra Island show an abundance of these tortoises with population estimates ranging from 33,000 to 100,000!
Cost: $38/person (Zoo members receive 10% discount)
Time: 11:15am – 1:45pm and 2:15pm – 3:45pm

You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at this state-of-the-art exhibit where the tortoises and Komodo dragons live—something not offered with any other tour or experience!
Tickets can also be purchased at the zoo on the day of your visit.
Please note: Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. In this instance, two tickets must be purchased: one for the child and one for the supervising adult.
Not all family/group members may be able to interact with the tortoises at the same time.
